This little explored string of reefs and bommies lies 5-10
nautical miles offshore. Expect 100' visibility, 78-84 degree water, and
abundant marine life. Schooling barracuda, reef fish, sharks and critters
are practically guaranteed. Here are a few of the established dive sites...
TUFI
WHARF
30 ft
Located right at the jetty in front of the dive shop, Tufi Dive
Resort's "house reef" offers some excellent muck diving. Look
for gobies, nudibranchs, mandarin fish, ghost and banded pipefish, and
more mixed in with machinery and Coca-Cola bottles from WWII. Excellent
night dive!
PAUL'S
REEF
Enjoy many colorful soft corals, large staghorn corals, anemones hosting
a variety of clown fishes, and schools of trevally & barracuda.

CYCLONE WALL
This vertical wall starts at about 20 ft, plummets to 120 ft, and then
slopes off into the abyss. Colorful lichens and hard & soft corals
cover the wall. Careful examination will reveal nudibranchs of varying
sizes and colors.
VEALE'S REEF
This steep wall is frequented by hammerhead sharks, dogtooth tuna, Spanish
mackerel, reef sharks and other pelagics. The top of the reef is covered
with staghorn and plate corals, as well as schools of small fish and giant
sponges. Excellent drift dive.
STEWART'S
REEF
This is the closest coral reef to Tufi Dive Resort. Excellent
hard corals, soft corals, sea whips and fans attract a healthy fish population.
You'll encounter schools of Spanish mackerel, barracuda, and trevally
along with the usual reef suspects. Expect to see epaulette sharks, decorator
crabs, octopus and moray eels if you visit this site at night.
