This
environmentally-friendly, private island resort is a secluded paradise
located on Namenalala island. The island features white sand beaches and
hiking trails, and is surrounded by the pristine Namena Barrier Reef.
Six bures, situated on a clifftop to catch the trade winds and take advantage
of the panoramic views, are spaced hundreds of yards apart to provide
the utmost privacy.
All
six bures are hexagonally-shaped and built of native woods, bamboo, and
cane. Each features a king-size canopy bed with mosquito netting, his
& her toilets and sinks joined by an oversized shower, balconies with
breathtaking views, floor-to ceiling sliding doors, hot water, coffee
& tea making facilities, solar lamps as well as romantic gas lamps,
and a fan to supplement the trade winds.
The
'Vale Ni Kana', or Clubhouse, houses the dining room, a self-serve bar,
a lounge area, and a large paperback library. The cuisine is a blend of
local and international fare and features resort-grown tropical fruits
& vegetables and freshly baked breads, pastries, and cakes.
Activities
