GARDEN ISLAND RESORT

Garden Island Resort’s PADI Gold Palm Dive Center offers daily excursions to the world renowned Rainbow Reef. This area includes the scattered reefs in the Somosomo Strait and the fringing reef south of Vanua Levu. The closest reefs are just 10 minutes away. Towels and refreshments are offered aboard our three custom-built dive vessels. Guests’ BC and regulators are assembled and loaded by the dive staff prior to guests’ arrival in the morning, and rinsed and stored upon return to the resort. There is a camera rinse bin ready back at the dive center. We have for hire a selection of BCD’s and regulators, wetsuits, masks and fins at reasonable rates.

The boats depart at 9:00am for our daily 2-tank dives and arrive back at the resort at approximately 1:15pm in time for a relaxing lunch. There are occasions when we will offer a 3-tank dive (additional cost for 3rd dive applies). In this case you'll enjoy a picnic lunch on a beach followed by the 3rd dive. Afternoon and night dives are also available with a minimum of 4 divers. PADI Open Water certification is offered.
