*Bikini Atoll is the home to the U.S.S. SARATOGA, the world's only
diveable aircraft carrier
*At 888 feet long, the U.S.S. SARATOGA is full of artifacts from
World War II
*500 and 1000 pound bombs
*assorted types of aircraft.
*Sunk in July 1946 during one of the atomic bomb tests, the U.S.S.
SARATOGA is sitting upright in 180 feet of water with its superstructure
only 40 feet from the surface.
*Divers who are certified to do penetration wreck dives and dive
with mixed gas will be thrilled with the opportunity to explore areas
of the ship that have only just been opened up to wreck diving enthusiasts.
*Dive other wrecks such as the HIJMS NAGATO, Admiral Yamamoto's flagship
for the attack on Pearl Harbor
*Dive the U.S.S. ARKANSAS, survivor of some of the most famous battles
in World War II including Okinawa, Iwo Jima, and Normandy.
*Visit other wrecks that include submarines, destroyers and attack
transports all lying on the bottom of the lagoon.
*Be amazed by the variety of marine life that has settled down to
call these wrecks their home and by the schools of sharks that seem
to appear whenever divers are nearby.
*Double 85 and 104 cubic foot tanks, isolation manifolds with either
DIN or yoke configurations, custom nitrox blends, and surface supplied
oxygen for decompression stops are all supplied as part of your package
to make your diving experience on Bikini as memorable, enjoyable,
and safe as it can be.
*For those divers that do not have the necessary technical diving
certifications, courses are offered as well.
